I am trying to create a custom, bootable, Solaris 2.6 CD-ROM. I can successfully make a CD-ROM that has the contents of the normal Solaris 2.6 Server install CD, but when I try to boot to the CD, I get a "Trap 3e" error. I suspect that slice 1 (which I modified) is not bootable, but I have no way to prove that, and I don't know how to correct it. "mkisofs" has a -b option with which to specify a boot image if you want to create a bootable disk, but none of the unix or genunix files I point it to are the right size. Any thoughts? I believe the default boot slice on a CDROM is partition :f or s5. Type "devalias" from the OK prompt to verify this. You should see the default device path for the CDROM entry. It looks something like:
/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@d/cdrom@0,0:f

The ":f" specifies the boot patition.
