"Total days from Jan 1st "Date function

Hello,

I am looking for a function in VB which gives me the total number of days from January 1st - todate (say Jan1st to March 1 = 59 days) . But I couldn't find.

Also is there a function to find the # of "Week of the day" like Jan 18th 2001 is third week in this year.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
