Hi.
So often, when I'm working on forms, queries, vba, etc., I think, "I've got to do such and such next."
What's the best way to click on something, and make a record of that thought, that I can easily retrieve (when I remember to do it)?
Thanks a lot. Gus Brunston  An old PICKer, using Access2000. I manage Suggestions welcome. padregus@attbi.com

Look into using OUTLOOK. It includes a "Task LIst", "scheduler", e-mail reader ... Keeping it open (even putting into a startup ...) leaves it open and avail. Collects e-mail periodically ...

There is never time to do it right but there is always time to do it over

DearMR:

Thanks for the suggestion. I've intended to look into that, but I just never seem to remember to do it.

Cheers.

Dear Gus,
Starfish's Sidekick98 or Sidekick99 is a fairly handy tool for that sort of thing (Calendar with Todos appointments Cardfiles(Flat File DB) and Memos(which are dated .rtf documents you can save in folders or export singly or grouped),and you can get a copy from ebay or wherever else you fancy.
I use it at work for absolutely everything and you can even export the cardfiles as Delimited .Txt.
It is supported minimally by Starfish now, but you can get support through the Starfish: Sidekick Forum in Tek-Tips!!
See thread807-165969 in that Forum.

I am biased I really like the program (No virae seem to infect it) but see what you think.
(;-))
Regards Jim
