"Task enforcement failing" messages in Server event viewer

I'm getting the following message in my EPO 2.5.1 server event viewer

"Task enforcement of task CMNUPD__3000 for
%computername% software failed"

, where %computername% is the name of the machine the enforcement is failing on.

It only happens on a couple of machines. Do I need to re-install the EPO agent, VSE7, or both? I have not upgraded to EPO 3 yet, by the way.
