When I run system restore, I get to the screen which asks if I want to set a system restore point and please enter a name for the point. After that I get an error message which says: "An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line 63; Char 5; Error: Object doesn't support this property or method; Code 0; URL: res://rstrui.exe/SRUI-ConfRP.htm." Great! Has something got corrupted? I searched the database but have not seen this come up in Tek-Tips.

Jim,
The documentation says you can write anything you like. I usually say something like Like "Restore point after running scandisk".
Bye.

Thanks Jim, I will give it a try and get back to let everyone know if it works.

Naaah! Doesn't work.
The Microsoft text seems to indicate you can write anything you like.
I suspect I have a damaged file.
If I get to reload Windows I will give it another try.
Bye for now. David.
