I read the back-and-forth info from a posting in November 2002, where someone had this same problem. I am in a quandry, because two of my to-be-exported fields are from formulas, and the formula name is always preceded by "@". What can I do? I assume that this is a special character, from the posting by jjfeigal on 22 nov 2002. Any clues to help me get around this? I have had to use these formulas to avoid "blank" data - blank data doesn't work well, either, when one field is numeric and the other is a date field. When I have a null value (no corresponding record for the left join), then I dummy up the field - zeroes for the numeric field and a default date for the other.

I am at CR 8.0.1.
