I got this email from a friend about a virus that may have forwarded itself
to you. Please check your computer and follow these instructions to get rid
of it. I found it on my computer. This is not an email that I wanted to
send but better to be safe than sorry. I have no idea how this happened.

This virus gets sent out by anyone who receives it and has an address set up
(you don't need to open it to activate it). All of you are in my address
book, so you may have gotten it. Just follow the directions and delete it
and hopefully none od us will have any problems. DELETE IT-DON'T OPEN IT!
If you have this virus, chances are that everyone in your address book will
have it too. It lies dormant for 14 days, then it kills your hard drive.
This virus was sent to me through someone's address book. It hasn't done
anything to my computer yet, which means that I must not have had it for 14
days, so neither should any of you.

The directions for removing it are easy:

1. Go to "start" - then to " find" or "search" (depending on you computer).

2. In the "search for files or folders" type in sulfnbk.exe --
this is the virus.

3. In the "look in" make sure you're searching Drive C.

4. Hit "search" or "find" button.

5. If this filw shows up ( it's an ugly blackish icon that will have the
name "sulfnbk.exe")DO NOT OPEN IT.

6. Right click on the file - go down to delete and left click. It will
ask you if you want to send it to your "Recycle Bin". Say yes.

7. Go to your desktop and double click on the "Recycle Bin"

8. Right click on "sulfnbk.exe and delete again - or empty the bin.

If you find it send this email to all in you address book, because that's
how it's transferred. Hopefully everyone's computer is alright, which it
should be if you read this email on time. This is very strange. Anybody out there has a thought about this? Thanks gypsy200

Hi. sulfnbk is a program to backup long filenames. The message to erase it is the virus. If you do and you make a backup of the system, then restore it, you'll wreck your system. Not really a virus, just a petty malicious hoax. Don Swayser
