hi everyone,
i am trying to create a 360 panoramic view of the surrounding, that structures i have created were set in. i have done it by putting 6 jpg together in photoshop, importing the image into flash (just as most panoramic views do).
the image is located in an mc and with a motion tween moving it to the right. over the image is an invisible button which on rollover uses 'play' and on rollout 'stop'. so far so good. everything works just fine ... BUT ...
it seems that the animation stutters, ... it is just not a smooth flowing thingy most of us would know from f.e. quicktime. therefore my question:
will an animation like this be smoother with a script (if i call on the x-position etc on mouse event ... and pull out my hair, because i am so great at scripting ... or is there a trick (like so many) using pics in flash?
note: i turned off 'allow smoothing', used various alpha settings like suggested on the macromedia site, did a little scaling and made a layover rectangle set to alpha 0% ( like i read on this board somewhere !!! ), but still nothing to my satisfaction.
so, anyone some suggestions, advice, help ... anything is appreciated. thanx
