"Soft" Report Table Linking 1

Been stumbling with this one and was wondering if anyone had any ideas, thanks in advance for any help.

I have a Report that accesses a ticketing database and shows trouble tickets based on the criteria I have set. The database has 4 table with the common data point being ticket ID #.

I linked all 4 tables on the ID # but have hit a snag. If 1 of the 4 tables contains no data the report fails. If I go back in and fill in data, it works.

My question is whether or not there is a way to create the links so that if 1 table has no data the report still comes back with the data in the other tables.

This is dependent upon the database, but try changing the links to Left Outer joins.

Thanks that did the trick. I am very green with Crystal Reports sorry that this was so basic.
