Many Thx,
Still one problem though, afraid it's got no sollution.
The Flash timeline is stopped when the JavaScript is playing. So the animation stops when the bomb explodes and the screen shakes then continues again after the shaky thinie..
that's what I'm working on. As you can see there is a white screen for a moment just when the bomb explodes, now the shaking action starts on the frame with the white screen as you can see, the movie clip stops playing while the browser is shaking which gives a crappy effect
Well it must have something to do with activeX?
Haven't yet re-installed NS since I upgraded my machine, but does it do the same?
Maybe getting rid of the white frame would make it less apparent...But you may not like that either!
Sorry, no other solution to propose!
i'm gonna try if running 2 movies in the screen solves the problem, so making a frameset and putting a movie with only an action in the Frame that corresponds with the bomb exploding in one frame and the movie in another frame.
What the Flash movie apparently does is handle the JavaScript and then go on with the timeline.
just so you know anyone viewing this explosion in aols browser causes the browser to lock up..don't know if thats important to you or not..could be aggravating to a customer viewing your site from aol..
Idd, I don't bother anymore. Tyred of Webdesigners to be get all the trouble from browsers competing each other. Anyhow, it's just a javaScript what a crappy browser is this aol browser???
So i made the 2 movies in seperate frames but it stays the same, when the screen is shaking animatio stops. Ah well, guess I'll just have to try and make the shake no longer than the duration of one frame in the FlashTimeline
