... but it's right there in the 'browse' window, exactly where XP says it should be.

Update to SP3 was downloaded to this computer, never installed. So I started to install it, and I can't get past this dialog box. If I say 'ignore it and proceed anyway', XP keeps coming back to it.

Download another update for SP3

I copied just that particular file from another computer that is up to date well beyond SP3, and the SP3 install seems to have completed normally. The computer is now fetching and installing all the post-SP3 stuff.

I can't say it's the weirdest thing I've seen Windows do, or rather not do, but it's right up there.
