I have a client that has a Night Service button on the Reception set, 221, and the message Service ON continually displays even when you press the programmed button. The phone works fine when you press the button and go to Night Services and works as it should when you take it out of Night Services but the screen continues to display Services ON.
I have reset the system and did a reboot but to no avail.
As well, to complete the business case, the client was hit by hackers over the weekend and the system seems to have some "Ghosts in the Machine".
Any suggestion ???

Check if a RAD is on site, if not then no way could they mess with Night Service.
Toll Fraud only via DISA or the usual Voice Mail....see our FAQ's and look for Toll Fraud.

When you press the Services button (F871) does it let you press Next to select Normal service or does it automatically select Normal Service?

It automatically toggles between Normal Service and Night Service. Normally the receptionist would press the 'Night Service' button and the phone would display "Night Service" and then change to Services ON and proceed to operate as it should in that mode.
Now it just stays in a displayed state of Services ON and the 'Normal' schedule works after you press the button again.
The date and time does not come back on to the screen after toggling back to 'Normal' mode

Maybe that set is not the "Control Set" for the service that is ON.
Check Control Sets and make sure all is in order.

Also try these codes to see if it clears:
F#871
F#872
F#873

Maybe also make Night Manual then change the Control set to any other DN then back again.
If it seems to work then change Manual back to Auto.

At my last employer I setup automatic services to go on at 5 p.m. and off at 8 a.m. I also setup a services button (F871) at the control set so we could also toggle night service on if we left early or we all left for lunch. So I'm fairly certain you can leave services at auto and still manually toggle night service with a button. As curlycord mentioned try manually dialing F#871, etc to see if that makes it go off. Otherwise I'd guess it's a software glitch. Perhaps if you upgrade the software it would clear this problem. Which release do you currently have?
