In the swatches palette (Illy CS) I use the "Select all unused" command to delete my unused swatches.

However, it always does not select everything -curiously it does not select Yellow, Lime and Night Blue (and white and black)

I'm baffled as to why this would be so, and will award a star to whomever can answer this problem.

Thanks!

Parker:

Did you look to see if those swatches happen to be used in a brush, symbol, or style? The sequence of deleting items should not necessarily begin with the swatches, unless you don't mind having a few of them straggling.

Try deleting Symbols first, then Brushes, then Styles, and then Swatches and see what happens.

As you probably know, there are a few swatches you'll never be able to delete (White, Black, Registration Black) so don't worry about those.

Briliant!

You win a star! I didn't realise that the undeleted styles, symbols and brushes would affect the swatch list - but it makes sense now that you have explained it.

Thank you.
