"Search Extender"

This is a program i definately did not load, it is diaquised as an AOL Instant Messenger ad on.. but it send you to its page when you type a web address whithout adding the "www" before it... can somone please help me with removing it from my computer. when i click remove it send me to

and i downloaded the "uninstaller" but it doesnt open i think that this site is full of $h!# ... thanks for any help
