In continuing the audit of the CE9 implementation I inherited, I periodically see the following error message in the Windows event log:

"The schedule result provided by the Job Server for the object identified by 763954 is invalid."

I couldn't find any reference to similar errors on the Business Objects support site. However, I did find two threads on this site but seemingly without answers.

thread782-1118079
thread782-597202

Any ideas what this error means and how I can go about correcting it? Thanks.

I don't think you can correct this error, it is the SI_ID, CE assigns each intance of a report a unique number. For some reason this increments in large jumps, as soon as it exceeds 63,000 (16bit) CE thinks the ID is invlaid. As far as I can see this is not a cause for concern.

The only time it gave me trouble was when I was converting some BO ASP code to suit my needs, in part of their code they used this ID concatenated with the Report object ID. Thus when it exceeded 63000 my ASP failed. At the time BO agreed it was superfluous and I could remove, on doing so everyting worked fine.

So in conclusion I don't think it worth worrying about unless you too are using it in custom ASP, in which case just remove it.
