Has anyone successfully implemented this method of Office 97/2000 installs. Any pros/cons to doing it this way (I already saw the technet article on this) Are there any licensing breaks for installing it this way. Any ideas, thoughts, or comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think that the run from server option is ok on small lans but if you have a lot of users it will soon clog the network, I think a better method is to use the O2K reskit to create custom install templates and then distribute the applications to be run locally at each PC. this also has the advantage of only having to licence the components that have been made available.
just dont try doing it with Zen2 (see my thread) what a nightmare!!
