Hello! I'm still rather new to Adobe, and i was wondering if someone could help me with a simple problem: the help pages say use ripple delete to cut the empty space between clips, but it has stopped deleting. I think there's another option selected that keeps the tracks from shifting to cut the gap, but I can't for the life of me find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for your time!

"Ripple Delete" not working

Make sure your settings will allow you to see even the smallest clips. It may be that you cut the audio portion and not the video, or vice versa. If so, make sure that the leading edge of both audio and video are flush. Otherwise, ripple delete won't work.
