"Reminder Failure Got error 5 for WinExe"

I have Win 98. I keep getting this annoying popup about every 5 seconds!! I do not know why unless it is because I uninstalled something through the Windows Uninstall. I remember deinstalling AOL (or something like this) then this popup started!! Got any ideas how to stop this popup???

Disregard last question, I put my glasses on and found what it said..Try system file checker and see what if anything it comes up with.. start>run>type in sfc>ok .. scan for altered files. if it finds any it will ask if you want them restored. then you can go from there..hope this helps..jackha
