An attorney has a 3904 set with a Redial softkey that gives him quick acess to redial numbers. When he works out of another office that has an i2004 set, he cannot understand why he has to hit the Directory fixed key, then scroll to Redial List, then Select, before he sees the numbers. One step vs. four in his eyes. Anyway to make Redial a softkey on a i2004 set or something similar?

If it is Last Number Redial: Add CLS LNA and just press your line key twice.

Otherwise, add the button to "store" a number you have just dialed KEY x RDL 16

It is not an LNR issue but how quickly you can pull up the list of previously dialed numbers and redial a number from that list.
It takes less than half the number of steps from the 3904 as it does from the i2004 and the end user wants to know why.

I'm not positive about i2004, but the 3904 allows for Key 27 to be CLT (Callers list on softkey) and key 28 to be RLT (Redial list on Softkey) - you might try those and see if it works on the i2004; if it works, it will be based on that set; not necessarily a common list between phones.

Went down that road but SCH code says RLT can only be used on 39XX series sets.
Thanks anyhow! I appreciate the quick responses.

Long shot but maybe try th "Outbox" key.
Could be a firmware issue. I have Redial softkey on my 1140e but those i2004's are kinda dated now.
