"Receive Voice Calls"

Hi,
I have a Legend 7.0 Version 10.0
A user told me he was having trouble with some outside caller not getting through to him. I printed out the details for his extension & I saw one setting that was different from other extensions.
It is called "Receive Voice Calls" & is set to OFF.
I can't find any reference to this in my manual.
Does anybody know what this setting does & how I can change it?

Interesting. The Legend System Programming manual shows "Receive Voice Calls: ON" in a sample print-out, but has no other documentation. It appears that this refers to voice-announced calls, which you can program, but that wouldn't affect outside calls.

I've searched all Legend 7 documents and cannot find anything else relevant.

Does he have a "private" direct line? Are the calls comming via a DID trunk? Are the calls transferred to him via an operator? Is it a "pool" or "square" setup?

It's coming in through a DID.
It sounds like it only happens when a user dials the main number, then goes into the directory and tries getting routed to this extension.

Maybe the directory is incorrect for his extension and needs updating. I assume if someone dials his DID# - the call gets through.

Yes direct calls get through.
Not sure how to update a directory.
I'll look at my manual tomorrow.
Any pointers for me?

Go to extension programming on the extension in question:
*10 Voice Receive on
**10 Voice Receive off.
