"ReadOnly"

Hi:
Currently have a table that is "Read Only" in the .dbc with 500plus records. . .
The error it is throwing is:

"At the monent other user uses same resoruce of the system exclusively
1705 c:\twsmain\twsmainprices.dbf"

Have opened the table and deleted the .cdx, thinking maybe that was causing it.
I have tried "unlock all" . . .and other things with no success.
Any guidance regarding the error is appreciated.

error 1705 says file access denied.
That happens, if another use has a file exclusive.

If you can make sure no user has a file open, by eg restarting the file server, you'll get access to the file. You shouldn't have deleted CDX, it doesn't recreate itself. Now you've broken a most probably healthy table, just because somewhere someone got exclusive access. Exclusive means what it means, literally.
