I have this huge booklet I print regularly. There is one set of duplex pages that will not print. I get the following error at the top of the front side page:

ERROR: rangecheck
OFFENDING COMMAND: setcolorspace

STACK:

[/Indexed [/DeviceGray ]15 ( )]
-mark-

Can any one help!

Can you copy the contents of those pages to another set of pages, then delete those pages? Then try printing. Without more info from you, that is the easiest fix.

If that doesn't work, come back and post what you have on the page, ie. fonts and types of graphics, how the graphics were placed, version of PM, OS, and what printer.

Also, you may want to save as, and save smaller, which should be a regular workflow prodcedure, especially if this is an important doc.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

This is most likely caused my a Metafile. Instead of copying and pasting graphics into PageMaker, always go to File>Place for importing graphics.

You can use Links Manager to see if any of the images are either Metafiles or have a question mark next to them. Fix those images and that should get rid of your setcolorspace error.
