Hi All,
I have an issue when exporing data to pdf.
My issue is, I have an amount field $12345, and for $0 it shows $-
, but when I export it to pdf, it should appear on the report as $ - (The $ should be left alaigned and amont should be right) in PDF, can this be done?
Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Any work around for this issue??
Thanks!

Try this:

Format the number (right-click and select "Format...")
On the Currency Symbol tab, select "Fixed" instead of "Floating".

This should take care of the issue.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

The only other way I can think of do this is to convert the numbers to text in a formula. But that may cause other problems because the formula will export to Excel as text. Unfortunately, Crystal doesn't provide a lot of control over how it exports things.

I have added the "$" sign before the amount field, and supressed repeating one's. But it adds another column in the excel sheet.
As long as Pdf export looks good, there is no problem. fixed the issue for pdf.

Thank you!
