My data entry department has become too loud. It may sound funny, but it is true. It has become annoying. I have been asked to find "quiet" keyboards for all my Mavis Beacon graduates.
I recall a few years back seeing some keyboards claiming "quiet" technology. A call to a couple of big name vendors has not been successful. I prefer PS2, if possible.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Just of the top of my head, Dell produce a quiet keyboard.

Regds,
Bran.

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world; Those who know binary and those who don't.

Thanks for the reply. I believe the Dell quiet keyboard is designed to work with certain Dell PC's. I will check the website. Thanks again.

Although not labeled as such, the Mitsumi KFK-EA4XT is also very quiet, and very inexpensive.

The Microsoft Internet Keyboard is very quiet. This uses the smaller ps/2-style connector and the included driver software should handle most compatability issues.

It makes nearly no noise, and as it is being discontinued you should be about to find it in quantity new for around $9/US. I just bought thirty at my local MicroCenter.

This makes almost no noise at all.

Thanks bcastner, I will be ordering in the morning.
