In Win98, users can set up the network logon so that mapped network drives are not reconnected until they are required. In Win2000, default seems to be to logon and reconnect mapped network drives during logon, causing errors if some drives are not yet available.
Is there some way to make Win2000 do a quick logon without verifying that the network drives are actually available? The drives need to be mapped for backups but we could do without the errors.
TIA
