"q backup" error using a wildcard - help please

WE're running tsm on a windows 2003 box and our tsm admin is not in. One of the dba's would like to expire some files but can't get a "q backup" to work correctly. He wants to run the q backup and then run the expire command.
On the windows server - he runs:

cd \PROGRAM FILES\TIVOLI\TSM\BACLIENT
DSMC -OPTFILE=MSSQL_DSM.OPT
tsm> Q BACKUP -SU=YES {//EPODBMS/DATA/0001}\*\* (shows a full list of files)

tsm> Q BACKUP -SU=YES {//EPODBMS/DATA/0001}\w*\* (shows nothing but should show all files beginning with "w")

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Try adding a drive letter

q backup -su=yes \\epodbms\data\0001\d$\w*\*

Where d corresponds to what ever drive the data resides on.

Thanks for your response but that still didn't work. No files came back. Could it have to do with trying to use wildcards with filespace names? Is there any way to do this?
