"Putfloatfield" Aloha error. Too many #'s entered in tender amount.

An employee entered too many numbers for the amount of a gift certificate on a sale and neglected to tell any managers of her error. When EOD grind was ran, I receive "PutFloatField: overflow '20122310'is long than 7" error. I am aware as to what it is telling me, however I would either like to delete the sale or change said "floatfield" to allow more than 7 so that I may finish out my day.
