I've create a package of VB project with Crystal Report 8 reports. Reports are working fine on my computer but when I'm installing this application on other computers, while running every report I get a message "Physical Database Not Found"

I don't know if I'm including all required runtime DLLs in the applicaiton package.

Need Help

Thanx

How does the report connect to the data? If via ODBC Are you creating the DSN on the target PC? Ken Hamady

I'm connecting to the database using DAO in Crystal Report. All those reports at design time are addressing to a specific path but at runtime, I'm changing the source path to view those reports. The problem is that half of my computers display reports while the other half don't which is more confusing. am I missing some DLLs somewhere or it's something else?

Thanx

I don't think it is a dll issue with that error, but error messages are sometimes misleading. The required dlls are listed in the developer's help files (Royalty Free Runtime.hlp)

Are you sure that the path is being passed to the report correctly on these PCs? Is there anything else different about these PCs? Ken Hamady
