"PDFWRITER ERROR" with no message

When printing a report from a Visual Foxpro application to the PDFWRITER printer (Acrobat v5) on a Win2K machine, it prints 39 pages of the report and then throws up a messagebox with "ADOBE PDFWRITER ERROR" in the title bar, a STOP icon (White "X" in red circle) and no message! I've been running the same report 10 times a month for the last two years with no problem.

The report is text with line separators and a small corner logo on each page - no big deal. This report in the past occasionally has run up to 100 pages, and has printed fine.

Has anyone seen this problem before?
