"Path_too_long" Error While Installing Developer 6i

Hi all,
Im trying to install Developer 6i onto my PC, but while analysing application dependencies, setup is returning the error:
path.vrf(86):Unbound Variable 'path_too_long_prompt'

and terminates the installation. We are not getting the same on a pal's PC. What do I need to change on mine?

In general similar errors are resolved by using the latest Oracle Installer. Try one currently installled.

Thanks Sem,

I did manage to solve this problem by editing my autoexec.bat file and split the "SET PATH=..." statement(s) so that I now have a few on each line. That way when Oracle tries to add an entry into this file it will not exceed the character limit for a single statement. I also ensured that my c:\orawin95\bin is included in my PATH.
The installation completed without a problem.
