"Order by:" Cannot get it to work!!! Newbie help! 1

Hello People,

I have a report that was originally created by Access (wizard). It order the records by the Gross Profit of each record, starting with the lowest.
How can I change this so that is uses the order number instead? I have tried the "Order By" property, but I just cannot get it to work.
The Access help wasn't much good either!

In report design go to view, sorting and grouping put order number in the box, ascending.
