"Operator" availability from Flash voicemail

I've recently installed a new Norstar with Flash voicemail. When a caller (internal or external) reaches voicemail and presses 0 to reach the operator, they get a message to the effect "... the attendant is not available..." and are returned to the voicemail greeting from which they came. Which options/features must be setup/enabled to allow this functionality? Thanks for your help.

well first you must initalize the mailbox .
the GDM (general delivery mailbox is mailbox 10 100 depending on your dn leanth .
Steps for Initalizing :

if you are at the operator phone the screen will just ask for your password .
if you are doing it from another phone in the building it will say log
for log you put in the mailbox # in this case 10 or 100 + the password .
the tempory password is 0000 if you are using three digit Dn's

Next it will prompt you to change your password it can be anything you want it just can't start with a 0
then you will want to record a greeting
you do this by selecting admin once you are in the maibox
then greet
then Pri
then record

Once this has been done make sure the operator is set to on
to do this

then make sure the Dn you want to be the operator is correct and it is set to on
if you need to set a Dn as the operator

the system coor. mailbox is 102 or 12 depending on dn leanth .
and the default password is again 0000 for three digit dn's
next go to AA
then select table
then the table # you are using 1 or 2
then hit next till you come to the operator Dn. make sure that it is the Dn you want to be the operator .

Thanks. The only thing you've noted that I haven't done is setup the General Delivery mailbox. I'll give it a try on Thursday - the system is about 200 miles away!
