Greetings people.
I am having infuriating problems with Crystal 6 against an Access 97 database, running a report from an nt server simply by directing iexplore to its URL from an asp page.
This in itself works fine. The report appears, group-tree present and correct, I pass ?rf=1 on the URL and it refreshes the data, all as sweet as fruit.
However, I wish to pass a selection formula to the report via "sf=" on the URL.
I have a tried and tested Selection formula, URLEncode it, and pass it on with the result that the window appears with the viewer and the message box "Operation not yet implemented [On Page Server <servername>]". Annoying. When I click the button a second time, a similar thing occurs, but this time the message box read "Operation completed successfully [On Page Server <servername>]", despite the fact that the report is not displayed. Even more annoying.

Anyone got a handle on this?

thanks people,

For want of a better description of my problem, check out This describes almost exactly my problem, but for the version number. Unfortunately, the article then dissolves into nonsense before resorting to such phrases as "...after making the appropriate changes.." which is a wonderful example of the art of pointlessness.have a read, have a ponder help me if you can.
