"Open File with" used in error - Can I reverse it?

Windows 95 & XP

A colleague (not me honest!) tried to open a file held on floppy and inadvertently opened it with the wrong program -
Now all files of the type on the floppy are shown with the inappropriate icon. Can I change it back & if so, how?

press and hold the shift key. then right click on the file you want to open in the different program... then left click on the open with item... on the bottom of the window that comes up there is a check box that will ask if you alwas want to use the selected program to open the file type... then select the program you want to use to open it... i don't tell many people about this, because it's stuff like this that will get them to call me as a pc tech to come fix it for them...
