"Offline Database" in Microsoft RMS

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience using the Offline Database feature in RMS. For example, if their site has gone down and the offline DB was used, when you switched back to the online DB, was the synchronization straigtforward?

It depends on what model/version you're using. I'm only familiar with the 3700, but the offline recovery is pretty reliable. Each offline workstation keeps its own copy of the db and synchs when they connect again. There are two sets of sequence numbers so you don't get conflicts if multiple workstations are offline.
