I have an IP500v2 on 9.0.0.829. I have made only two changes since June 2015, but now they have a problem.
Last week they reported that when they called one specific cell phone number, that it rang then gave a tone and the display said NUMBER BUSY. When I tested, I replicated it every time and saw Disconnect from Far Destination in SSA. The carrier (which they have had for 5-6 years) started messing with their outbound Caller ID. They sent a tech with a t-bird that had no problem calling that number. Fearing that someone used call block on that cell phone, I added a specific sc for withhold Caller ID for that area code and exchange. It worked initially.
This week, other cell phone numbers are now doing the same ring then tone thang. One of the numbers rang for 24 seconds before the tone. And the first number is back to doing the same.
Other than asking the carrier to look at this again, is there anything that I need to do?
