Hi, I saw a post from a few months ago about the "Not enough memory for operation." error and tried setting the services to run under an appropriate account. That didn't work.

Here's my situation: Crystal Enterprise 8.0 on windows2K, a Pervasive database accessed directly via the database files (not ODBC), and one date parameter.

There are about a hundred reports on this system that suddenly stopped running one day when Access 2002 was installed on the server, and when they are viewed the viewer gives the error "Error detected by database DLL. [On Page Server: CRYSTAL-REPORTS-SERVER.pageserver]".

I'm not sure Access 2002 was responsible, but there was a coincidence between it being installed and the Crystal Enterprise problems.

Can anyone offer me any hints or help or anything at all? I've been working on this problem for days and nothing seems to help, especially not Crystal Decisions tech support.

Thanks,
Andre Rivas

I'd guess that a .DLL or some file was crushed.

Consider reinstalling it, or on another machine, install CE and then Access and see if Accesss crushes it.

There are many possibilities, so I'd go with the brute force solution.

Thanks for the suggestion, "k".

I have already done the following: Uninstalled Access, uninstalled CE, reinstalled CE, applied CE monthly hotfixes.

None of that has helped.

If I go to the actual .rpt file in the filestore and run that report through the Crystal Reports designer it runs fine. But when Crystal Enterprise tries to run it, either on demand or scheduled, it can't.

I'm going crazy here. Any suggestions or info will be greatly appreciated.
