This is a strange one. I am attemting to rlogin to a Solaris host as "root" and it won't login in. I get an error "no shell".

I've changed the shell it uses and still the same error.

Any thoughts??

i just fixed it. i ended up copying a "root" entry from another server's /etc/passwd file and it worked. Must have been something bogus somewhere in that line entry.

Thanks for your help.
