Connecting to an inherited BCM50. Can get in via telsets, find ip etc. But when I try to connect via BCM Monitor, I get that error, followed by the IP address.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried connecting thru element manager/go to the i.p. thru internet explorer?

Sounds like that service has stopped. Log into Business Element Manager and restart the service or just reboot.
