After re-sizing my partitions with PartitionMagic I'm getting the message "Missing Operating System" on reboot. I have Drive Image installed. I tried to re-install Win 2K pro from an image-same message. (The image install was successful). Any ideas on this one.

You need to fix your Master Boot Record (MBR).

. You can use a Win98x boot disk, and then fdisk /MBR

. You can use your Win2k installation CD. Use the Recovery Console:

fixmbr
fixboot

Thanks for the reply bcastner. I tried as you suggested-no joy. I got a message that said the file system was too badly damaged for repair-or words to that effect. I'll re-install so as I have some time. :(
