"missing files" search - Where?

After using pc-telephone for several years, I thought I needed to delete the old version before installing the new. The new version downloads but will not install, instead gives me a "missing files" and "setup will end" message boxes. The missing file seems to be "C:\DOCUM~2\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\setup" How do I go about searching for such a file? Thank you.
