Hello friends:

Two quick questions:

1. Can the "Message for you" that comes on the display be on multiple phones when a message is received? For example, extension 232 has the voice mail box, extensions 244 and 245 have the Answer DN on them. Is there a way to make the display indicate that a message is waiting on 244 or 245?

2. Where can I buy those clear buttons that go over top of the buttons next to the keypad?

Thanks everyone!

Michael.

You can visit the web site listed below my post for buttons.
As for Message on screen you cannot do it however you can set off premise notification (in mailbox programming) to phone 232 when a message arrives.
Go into your mailbox, press 8, press 6 and follow the prompts.

The notification part works great. If the voice mail system calls and no one picks up, will it keep retrying the extension until someone does pick up? Thanks for the help.

I have a NAM, and in the voicemail setup you have the option for an "ALT1" extension number. I have this working and the "msg" does appear on both sets. I think this is limited to only 1 alternate.

There is a COS - Class Of Service chart in the setup/operation guide, this chart will tell you how many times and how many intervals it wil attempt to notify.
If you dont have that manaul then let us know.

ewing, good suggestion but I believe that alternate set must not allready have a mailbox attatched to it.
