Hi there,

for my dimension "account" there are in my data source a couple of accounts which have different account numbers but exactly the same name (please don't ask what's the point in having distinct numbers with the same description, I don't know - but still, I've to deal with it).

I changed the advanced characteristics "member names unique" into false and thought that would be it. However, AS doesn't think so. It does not display any data, because the member names are not unique.

Somenone got an idea?

Greetings,
Chris

You need to add the codes as the unique ID and the name as the display field (as non-unique). Add the code next to the name.

Little more info. You do this in the screen which has the dimensional hierarchy.
