MIS
Greetings oh knower of Mac, X, or Unix.
Thank you for shopping...
Here's the issue:
Mac Mail application has a bugaboo.
Running on a 2 year-old iMac.
Using the native "MAIL" program some mail has been lost.
Looks like a corrupt folder or mailbox.
The console reports "Table of Contents Error. Two files with same entry".
I'd love to sort this out, learn something in the process, and save some important e-mails. The mail was archived so I think it's still a possible save.
So how can I do this? Through the terminal?
Unix software?
General recommendations for data recovery tools requested. Freeware, shareware, bucksware, all fine. If you used it, let me know.
Link also welcome.
Your humble Mac servant,
Macgeneral
