How do i use "MaHost" to establish a database connection to my SQL server 2000?

Final goal is to be able to Insert data onto an SQL server table, using VBA, Component Object Model(COM)

What is MaHost? Can you use linked tables using and ODBC connection instead? Kathryn

MaHost is an 'Object' included with "MaAccess.dll 1.0 Type Library.

Yup! i could simply use an ODBC connection, but the is, i am currently trying to integrated a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) software with our existing in-house application, both of them are now using the same database/tables. I wanna be able to insert a record on tables which both applications are using. The problem is, CRM is very picky in terms of how records are being inserted onto tables with it uses. The company who built the CRM does not recommend using ODBC/SQL statemnetes to insert records, so thats my dilemma. I'm currently looking at other methods (i.e MaHost) to insert records onto the table.

Any help will be appreciated

Sorry, but I have never heard of MaHost or the MaHost.dll file. Could the dll be from the CFM software? Kathryn
