I started getting this error when trying to LiveUpdate my Norton AV 2003.

Manual install via Intelligent Updater works fine but still cannot run LiveUpdate.

Tried upgrading LiveUpdate to v3.0 from v2.6 but still same problem, anyone know what's causing this?

I tried everything in this Symantec KB article except for reinstalling NAV but still no luck!

Had the same problem with 2003.
Download the newest liveupdate files from the symantec site.

You'll probably need to uninstall and reinstall. NAV seems to get corrupted very easily and in many cases the only cure ist to reinstall it. That's one reason why I don't use it anymore. If you're near the end of your subscription you may want to consider something more stable. JMHO.
