"Like" command

Hi

I need to exclude records from a report where a numerical field contains the numbers 1 or 5. I tried using the

{fieldname} like "*1"

in a select expert (where it was false) but it still shows them in the report. Surely something very dumb I am doing?

Ignore the above...I was being dumb...I missed off the second * doh!
