"Inventory Transaction For This Line Item Is Not On File"

Hi guys,

Run into a problem after rebuilding the Inventory Transaction History file (IMINVTRX) last night. The rebuild was completed fine. It compressed the file from 200MB to 150MB. However, when we try to check an item in OE History view, which brings up Inventory Transaction View, it shows "Inventory Transaction For This Line Item Is Not On File" error message. We couldn't figure out what causes the error. Then, I go look up the item directly from Inventory Transaction View and it's there. What could be wrong? Anyone? Thanks!

Are you sure you're looking at the right record? Since you talk about shrinking the file, you're probably running Btrieve. Usually if you had corrupt records, you would get an error 2. If the rebuild completed without errors then the data that's there now hasn't been altered by the rebuild. I believe it is using the ID column to make the link. I would check that first.
