I've never come across this error before...

"Invalid BLOB handle in record buffer.

Happens when opening a record to update, doesn't happen every time and doesn't happen all day but is pretty frequent.

Anybody had this before?

Open your BDE and increase Blobs to Cache to 256. Restart GoldMine on the workstation and you should see a difference.

Actually, you can increase this number much higher... I've heard of some settings as high as 2054. On my BDE, which is strictly for GoldBox since I'm on version 7, the blobs to cache is set to 15000. It all depends on the beefiness of your server.

I've upped it from 256 to 1080 and so far it appears to have solved the issue.

I do not believe that anyone has mentioned this, however, you are on an extremely bad version of GoldMine and should upgrade immediately to GoldMine 6.70.70226.
