IE11 just came up with a new (to me) trick. It posts this dialog:
_IE_Dialog.jpg

but keeps on working. The only problem is that the dialog always gets in the way.

I can't find a way to uninstall IE so I decided to write over it. I downloaded IE11-Windows6.1-x64-en-us.exe and ran it. I got this dialog in response:
_IE_No_Install.jpg

How can I have a copy of IE11 that runs and doesn't grumble about it?
Thanks

So, I would start it by running in safe mode and seeing if any add-ons are causing the problem. Disabled them one by one and start in regular mode and see if it behaves.
Type this in the search or run box: iexplore -extoff

If no love, run Junk Removal Tool and see if malware is bothering you.
